Jean Teens
Jean Teens is an eight-week summer volunteering program for eighth graders and high school students that was started by The Civiettes Club of Birmingham. For over 25 years, the program has given young adults an opportunity to work with children with disabilities in an inclusive environment. Students will learn about the challenges that special needs children face and make a positive difference in their lives. Jean Teens is a great starting point for students looking to make a difference in their community.
We are looking for responsible, positive teen role models to be a part of the Jean Teen program this year. Applications are due by May 11, 2012.
