Early Learning Program

In the Hand In Hand Early Learning Program, children with and without disabilities learn side by side in a beautiful 41,000 square foot early learning center. Children without disabilities learn compassion at an early age; children with disabilities will learn from their peers.

Hand In Hand is Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and offers:

  • Teachers with degrees in education or a related field
  • Low teacher to child ratio
  • Developmentally appropriate curriculum augmented with computer and technology use, literacy experiences, math and science readiness and music
  • Large, spacious classrooms
  • Nutritious, hot meals and snacks
  • Indoor activity area for play, assemblies, art and theatre programs and afternoon extra-curricular activities
  • Staff nurse and language, occupational, physical and music therapists who work with teachers
  • Fully accessible facility

Outdoor Environment

Hand In Hand's outdoor environment is a positive, healthy setting where children can play, learn and grow. Each aspect of the building, the program and the environment has been carefully designed to promote a healthy, safe and happy setting in which children can grow and learn.

Designed by educators and developmental specialists to meet the needs of all children, the Hand In Hand facility is surrounded by seven acres of wooded landscape, butterfly gardens and nature trails. This leading edge program, in cooperative relationships with several universities, provides a solid foundation for a child's future success.

Hand in Hand's Early Learning Program offers tours each Thursday at 11:00 am or by appointment. Tuition is dependant on the child's age and classroom. Part time enrollment is also available.
