HEART'S Respite

The Community Living Program has funds from the Children’s Trust Fund for the purpose of providing respite services for parents of children age birth to 18 years of age with disabilities or developmental delays. The funds are available for Congressional Districts 6 and 5. This covers Jefferson, parts of Tuscaloosa, Bibb, Shelby, Chilton, St. Clair, Colbert, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison and Jackson counties. Funds are also available for District 4. Funds are awarded on a quarterly basis and approval is based on availability of funds.
